Cachet Wine Cellars: 20+ Years of Excellence, One Family's Dedication
Since 2004, Cachet Wine Cellars has been built on a foundation of expertise, precision, and genuine care for every client's collection. What began as a passion for wine and a commitment to quality has grown into North America's trusted name in custom wine cellar design and installation. We've completed over 500 projects — from intimate residential cellars to 4,000-plus bottle commercial installations at MGM Grand, Palazzo, Waldorf Astoria, and Caesars. Our work is defined by one principle: your wine collection deserves storage that preserves, protects, and celebrates it. That's the standard we maintain on every project.
Our Story: From Passion to Expertise
The journey into wine cellars began with a simple observation: collectors needed better storage solutions than the market offered. It started with a passion for wine itself — traveling to wine regions across continents. The Parkers have visited Australia's Barossa Valley, Argentina's Mendoza, Spain's Rioja, Chile's Casablanca Valley, Mexico's Guadalupe Valley, Italy's Tuscany, and France's Bordeaux and Burgundy. From these journeys came a deep appreciation for wine as something that demands respect, and for the collectors who invest seriously in it.
Recognizing the gap in the market, they spent seven years with Grotto Custom Wine Cellars, one of the industry's early leaders. This wasn't casual employment — it was an apprenticeship. They learned the manufacturing process for quality racking, mastered the construction techniques required for proper cellars, studied climate control integration, and developed the craftsman's mindset: precision, quality, and refusal to compromise.
In 2004, with deep expertise and clear conviction, they launched Cachet Wine Cellars. The name was deliberate — cachet means a mark of distinction, quality, and prestige, the opposite of merely hidden storage. The mission was clear from the start: design and build wine cellars that meet the highest standards of climate control, craftsmanship, and aesthetics. Not shortcuts. Not component assembly. Complete, integrated environments where wine could age perfectly for decades.
Over 20 years, that commitment earned the trust of some of North America's most prestigious clients — major Las Vegas hotels and resorts, discerning private collectors across California, Nevada, Arizona, and beyond. The reputation grew not through marketing, but through results. The core principle hasn't changed: every wine collection deserves storage that preserves, protects, and celebrates it. Every design decision, every material selection, every installation detail reflects that conviction.
Our Team: Experience, Expertise, Excellence
Cachet is led by seasoned designers, builders, and project managers with combined decades of experience in wine cellar design, construction, and climate control integration.
The team understands that wine storage is both an art and a science. The science: calculating heat load, specifying insulation R-values, integrating humidity control, and commissioning cooling systems. The art: designing spaces that are beautiful, functional, and reflective of the collector's personality.
Every team member has worked across multiple projects and solved the kinds of problems that don't appear in textbooks — what to do when the ideal space is in a coastal climate with corrosive salt air, how to manage moisture remediation in a basement, how to cool an attic with extreme ambient temperatures. They've worked with premium materials, integrated smart home systems, and built cellars in conditions that demanded real ingenuity.
When we assess your space, we're not starting from theory. We're drawing on 500-plus completed projects and decades of real-world experience.
What We Stand For: Luxury, Craftsmanship, Reliability
These three words define Cachet:

01
Luxury
Not excess or pretense, but quality expressed in every detail — materials selected with care, design executed with precision, and the experience of using a cellar that works flawlessly. Luxury is a climate-controlled environment so precise that wine ages perfectly, lighting so thoughtful that the collection looks beautiful, and finishing details so meticulous that the space feels designed rather than simply built.
02
Craftsmanship
Every aspect of your cellar is executed with precision. Racking is level and secure. Cooling systems are properly installed with correct ducting. Insulation is complete, not partial. Finishing work is clean. We don't cut corners. We build once, and we build right.
03
Reliability
Your cellar must function year after year — through seasonal extremes, through decades of use. Cooling systems must hold temperature and humidity consistently. Racking must safely support your bottles for a generation or more. Our lifetime warranty on materials and craftsmanship reflects this commitment. We measure success not in sales, but in cellars that work flawlessly 10, 20, and 30 years after completion.
Specific Project Expertise: Residential, Commercial, Specialty
Across more than 500 completed projects, our experience spans every cellar type and complexity.
Residential Wine Cellars
From 100-bottle closet conversions to 3,000-plus bottle dedicated rooms, we've built in basements, under stairs, repurposed bedrooms, garage conversions, and outdoor structures. Materials range from budget-friendly pine to premium Spanish cedar and mahogany. Clients range from casual enthusiasts to serious collectors with exacting standards. Twenty years of residential work has taught us that successful cellars are built around how people actually live — a frequent entertainer needs great lighting and easy access; a private collector needs precision and security. The nuance matters.
Commercial Wine Cellars
Restaurants, hotels, casinos, country clubs, wine bars, and private aviation clubs all demand different engineering — staff accessibility for quick bottle retrieval, fast temperature recovery after frequent door openings, display organization that merchandises wine effectively, and integration with existing commercial HVAC. We've equipped Hell's Kitchen at Harrah's San Diego with 2,500 bottles at a perfect 55°F, Nicco's Steakhouse in Las Vegas with a 4,000-bottle sommelier-efficient layout, and the Palazzo Gaming Lounge, plus dozens of restaurants and hotels nationwide. Every commercial project is custom-engineered for its specific operational needs.
Specialty Integrations
Cigar humidor integration with Spanish cedar and dual humidity zones; smart home integration via Wine Guardian Pro Series with Crestron, Nest, and Honeywell controls; custom-angled racking for under-stair conversions; glass-wall displays anchoring entire rooms; coastal installations with salt air corrosion prevention; and desert installations managing extreme heat loads. Specialty situations have taught us that one-size-fits-all doesn't exist. Every space and every collector has unique requirements — which is why we design custom, not from templates.

Every finished cellar is documented with professional photography, creating a permanent record that's beautiful enough to frame and share.
02
Aftercare Visits
We schedule follow-up visits at 40 days to verify system stability and make any adjustments, at 6 months for interim maintenance, and at 12 months for full service. These aren't just checkups — they're part of the relationship.
03
Lifetime Warranty
Every cellar is backed by our lifetime warranty on materials and craftsmanship. If anything fails in the structure, racking, or installation quality, we repair or replace it. The warranty exists because we know our work will last.
04
Open Communication
